My London Underground Typeface

My London Underground Typeface
As part of my Masters project
I decided to design a typeface inspired by the London Underground logo, using a circle and line. I wanted the typeface to be as close to a standard typeface as possible, and to be both recognisable and legible.
I added the alphabet in a serif typeface to remind me what a standard face looks like. I created the lowercase letters first
First draft lowercase letters
First draft of lowercase and uppercase letters, with one or two adaptions
First draft of numbers
First sentences
The following images show the first completed typeface and numbers. The characters that have been adjusted are the B, g, J, M m, N, P and W w.
The numbers that have been adjusted are the zero, 1, 4 and 8.
I felt like I should have a contrasting typeface to go with the previous typeface. Created with the same idea in mind. The characters that are different from the first set are the F, G and Y.
The numbers are the same only with narrow lines.
This is the same typeface as the one above just made slightly bolder.
This was produced to see how the second typeface looked when it was put into sentences, with a little colour.

This was to show how each typeface looks at a standard size, these being near to 12pt.
All the writing was made by setting out each letter individually. I now need to create these as fonts.
