This project showcases two works that are entirely typographic. The goal is to explore how the different natures of the fonts employed influences the creative process as they are utilized to create compositions of shape and negative space.

The first uses Neue Haas Grotesk. The font influenced me, with its strong and blocky sans-serif look, to create a heavy image with a lot of contact and layering.

The second composition employs Stemple Garamond. The serif font creates a more delicate feel and influenced me to find interesting relationships between the shapes of the letters and numbers in a way that came out more interwoven and less stacked.
