Composed all Instagram posts and handled all photography for the official Auburn Swim Camp Instagram account, geared towards engaging parents, campers, and prospective customers.
Technique/Training Camp 1 (June '22)
Tasked with creating the Auburn Swim Camps Instagram account from scratch, geared towards keeping campers' parents up to date on the kids' daily activities. As positive responses flowed in and engagement increased, it became clear that there was a market for greater detail in the post captions, which allowed me to leverage my writing background to attempt to convey the feeling of being at camp for the readers at home.
Starts and Turns Camp (June '22)
Starts and Turns Camp, a roughly 48-hour camp packed with swimming content, has a substantially more serious environment than the week-long technique/training camps. The challenge to the coaches and counselors was to make it fun for the campers anyways, while the challenge for me was to capture the fun and technical work and convey it to our constituent groups in balance.
