Working within the digital healthcare space, I wanted to explore and design a wearable device that allowed the user to securely store and share healthcare information. Design in this space is important for improving the communication within the healthcare system so that patients can receive and advocate for better treatment, especially with the ongoing health crisis. The outcome I developed is called 'Scan 4 MEdi' and encompasses a collection of innovative scan-able jewellery items that have the ability to store personal medical information and provide effective action plans to first responders.
