For any country associated with G20, its summit logo is a significant aspect of the event. It gives the chance to present the country in the true sense in front of the entire world. Plus, it caters to the needs of print media. So we here have tried to curate the true essence of India in our logo.
The logo is designed to keep science, history, achievements, health, and natural elements in mind. It represents the true spirit of the country. If you look carefully, it is very simple to remember, yet at the same time, it signifies the true values of India.
The design consists of a big wheel representing truth, justice and forwardness and inside the wheel, it has 20 spokes representing 20 members of the G20. Looking closely, you can observe three circles the outermost represents Sun, the middle one is for the Moon, and the innermost is for Earth.
In India, the sun, moon, and earth represent natural elements and are also symbolic next to god. We consider earth the mother, the sun the father, and the moon the mama (mother's brother/paternal uncle), which showcases a strong inclination towards Indian heritage.

In the logo, we have used saffron colour for character G and 2. The colour here represents Courage and bravery of the nation and how our country has gone through many difficulties and can still stand as a powerful nation in the world. We have 22 official languages and more than thousands of regional dialects. Our differences make us united. Our nation is laid on the principle of "Anekta Main Ekta" which means Unity in diversity. The green color in Chakra stands for fertility, growth, and the auspiciousness of the land.

Further, the moon here signifies India's achievement in the scientific world. The water on the moon was also discovered by India's Chandrayaan-1.
The significance of the wheel can be seen even in Ancient temples across India. The wheel taught about movement in life and business. Irrespective of whatever happens, one has to keep moving. Despite the effect of the Pandemic on the Indian economy, our people are able to cope with tough situations because of this moving forward attitude.
