The first time I went to San Francisco I found that it was possible to rent a bicycle and cross the bridge. So, the next time I was there that's exactly what I did. This set of pictures was taken in that trip. There was a dense fog covering half of the bridge, and as I often do, I wanted to take the opportunity to create an emotional sense of vagueness that makes a strong contrast with the definite shapes of the Golden Gate. The other pictures were taken from the airplane, but as the mood is the same, I decided to put them together.
