Show Zine

I created a zine with the RISO, the RISO is " a 'digital screen printing'. The process is similar to screen printing, but with the convenience of an office copier. It's known for its vivid colors (that other printers can't produce) and its specific textures." The RISO also uses ink that is made out of a vegetable-based ink which is made from rice bran oil. RISO was the world's first to develop and commercialize rice bran oil ink for digital duplicator.

Doing a zine for the first time was complicated but fun to create at the same time. I made my Zine based on my favorite anime show Death Note. I had to separate in different layers what I wanted red and what I wanted to be black specifically. Although it a bit frustrating I was able to finish it in time.
