판다곰 두 번째 정규 앨범 "Vertigo" 아트디렉팅
Vertigo는 프로듀서 판다곰이 그간 음악을 좇으며 겪었던 성장통에 대한 이야기를 담은 앨범이다.
나는 그의 다양한 이야기들을 하나의 주제로 엮어낼 세계관이 필요하다고 판단했다. 이를 위해 앨범에 담긴 그의 이야기를 7가지 욕망으로 분류했으며, 이 욕망들을 각각의 오브젝트로 치환시켰다. 나는 이 오브젝트들이 한 공간에 존재할 때 성립되는 공간을 'Vertigo 세계관'으로 정의했다.
판다곰은 자신의 욕망으로 뒤엉킨 이 공간에서 끝이 없는 현기증을 느낀다. 히치콕 영화 Vertigo(1958)의 주인공 ‘퍼거슨’처럼 영원히 끝나지 않을 것 같은 현기증을 느끼는 것이다.

I needed a worldview that would encompass all his various stories. His stories were arranged in seven emotions. And each emotion was realized as a unique object to contain the story. I defined “Vertigo worldview” as the universal space where all the emotions existed.
Panda Gomm, the main subject of the album, expresses his feelings with endless dizziness in this space. Like the main character of the Hitchcock film Vertigo (1958), Ferguson feels a dizziness that never ends.
