Devon Countryside
I sit down in the lush green grass, slide back and forth until nothing pricks me and everything is comfortable. I close my eyes, breathe in - and out again.
around me i notice the birds’ singing, the bleating goats and the moaning sheep. nothing else. just peace and quiet. pure nature.
for a brief moment it becomes warm and bright and my lips form a soft smile. I open my eyes and look up - indeed, a small, blue gap interrupts the static grey, cloudy sky. the sun's rays blind me and I have to squint before I let my gaze wander. lovely shaped hills dotted white with grazing cattle. surrounded by green. a landscape that seems endless ends with a clear cut.
in the distance, a steep cliff plunges into the depths. the seemingly still water crashes against the barren, red rocks.
it rages and the power of the sea becomes visible.
A border between green and blue. blue and green.
grey in color, reflecting the gloomy cloudy sky, a small stream meanders through the hilly, green moorland.
silence. only the rippling of the water.
nature as far as the eye can see.

the magic of a moment

a chilly breeze comes up and ruffles my short blond hair.
with difficulty, fighting the increasingly strong wind, I manage to pull up the hood of my black rain jacket.

blown away in an instant
an accumulation of enchanting moments. peace and quiet.
