Over the past few weeks, I designed and created three conceptual book covers for the book, The Tempest, by William Shakespeare. Here are my final three. Each book cover highlights different creative strategies and criteria. The first book cover focuses on typography and changing the material of letters to water. The second book cover illustrates the creative strategy of isolation while using handmade materials. I took the picture myself, drew the ship, and merged them into one final book cover. The third and final book cover represents the main character, Prospero. He created the storm that is the focal point of my designs.
