Transform a old harbour in Gothenburg, Sweden, into a city district by the sea.

Current situation
Gothenburg is in need of new housing, and it is suggested that the old harbour named Frihamnen should be transformed into a new city district.
Vision
The future of Frihamnen.
A place for living, commerce, meetings, culture, activities and boat life.
The idea
Build a structure of mixed functions (living, commerce and culture) in the area.
Build paths to the surrounding areas and between the piers.
Max a distance of 300 meters to vegetation and water.
Create streets that are characterized by vegetation.
Section.
Create bridges with vegetation between Frihamnen and the surrounding areas.
Save the old buildings, but give them a new function and a new life.
Example: transform an old warehouse into a center of culture and social meetings.
Tie together city and water.
