First Exploration-
It was using wood shavings and making a thick layer of it by sticking them layer by layer using a rubber based adhesive. As a result of that a thick flexible sheet of wood was achieved, however after a short while of bending it would go back to its original shape.
Second Exploration-
It was using a thin stick of cane that was passed through solid wooden links that would restrict the bending of the cane after a certain point, although this had the correct kind of bending it required external support in order to maintain the bent position.
Third Exploration-
Involved the use of cane wicker that is the skin of the cane, it was extremely strong and at the same time very thin, and again wooden links were used to restrict the bending of the cane as the wooden links would simply rest on one another while the cane wicker held them tightly in place.
