Thin Business
There will always come a time in designer's life when they will make a business card-- whether that be for themself or another, it is the inevitable boulder rolling down the hill. Thus, here is my business card. Let's dive into the details:

Physical & Digital Sketches
Here are the physical sketches. Lots of different concepts and ideas, not all very fleshed out but there to just get the basic idea out there.
After chopping it down, I went ahead and created digital renditions with backsides included. I wanted to have a simple approach with backsides that kept the same feel as the front. Overall, I wasn't very happy with how the backsides turned out, so I definitely put them through the workshop.

Top Three Choices
It came down to these three, as they are very simple and yet have a unique design to them. I included the reprise of the backsides, four for each design. I really wanted to execute a backside that includes all the required information but made it so it wasn't cluttered. I created divisions to create either a symmetrical or asymmetrical balance based on the design.

Final Countdown
Ultimately, only one can be chosen and tinkered to the end with. After creating colored variants of the previous three, this design topped the others because of it's balance and originality.

While the split front between the two colors was interesting, it wasn't as clean as the final color variant. I also wanted to use colors that expressed energy but not overbearance, leaving the one and the only orange card to stay on top. You saw it at the beginning, but here it is again, complete with spot colors, trim marks, and a PSD:
