Takeaway Cup-holder Concept

A big percentage of NenluTea's customers get one or more drinks and take it to their office or somewhere outside. I never liked the classical way some competitors are doing it, putting the drinks in a bag -

SOme others  on the other hand have a cupholder, that look's more like a red warning sign than a decent transportation device. After one month of engineering and testing,  my team and me came up with this little beauty :)
We wanted to push the brand, yet keep it simple and decent. Now the song "Make the Logo bigger!" comes into my mind, fellow designers will understand me.
The branding impact carrying something like this seems much higher than a simple bag - people actually see that you're carrying drinks.
The picture above is self-explaining - We urge people to draw shapes based on the circles, make a photo of the cupholder and show off their creativity on our weibo-page (weibo is the chinese equivalent of twitter).
As a creative, I'd love to see "regular people" beeing more creative - That's why we included a simple project on the back, instead of leaving it blank or using it for more branding.
I always had this problem with the straws, whenever I used a cupholder with other F&B companies - we spend a lot of time finding a way to "hide" the straws in the cupholder, without the need of additional paper. It worked.
The basic idea is to give people something to do, while they enjoy their tea.
simple. creative.

This cupholder was introduced in 2013 and is now available in all NenluTea stores across China.
