Ce projet avait pour but de créer un design de cartes postales sous forme de triptyque à partir d'un lieu public. Les trois cartes postales devaient vivre dans un même univers visuel. Fasciné par l'ambiance historique qui règne dans les vieux quartiers de la ville de Québec, j'ai décidé de choisir les portes St-Jean comme sujet de mon projet.
Une recherche approfondie a été faite afin de trouver le bon angle pour le projet. Donc, j'ai voulu mélanger le côté historique des portes, mais en gardant un côté visuel moderne où l'on voyage à travers les époques et les personnages qui eu un impact sur cette architecture mythique.

The goal of this project was to create a postcard design in the form of a triptych based on a public place. The three postcards had to live in the same visual universe. Fascinated by the historic ambience of Quebec City's old quarters, I decided to choose the St John's Gate as the subject of my project.
Extensive research was carried out to find the right angle for the project. So, I wanted to blend the historical side of the gates, but keep a modern visual side where we travel through the eras and the characters who had an impact on this mythical architecture.
