This experimental animation was the outcome of a classroom project guided by filmmaker Aditi Chitre.
The brief started with designing one's own sound. After exchanging the outcomes with each other in the classroom, one had to pick a sound design amongst the class which spoke to them.
This particular bit of sound designed by my friend Parul Sharma stood out to me. We further had to develop the sound to fit our own narrative.
And from there on to visualize an image from the sound.
The attached images are the samples I visualized.
From there on, we had to iteratively build on our narrative, while bringing motion to our still image.
The final brief was to use another medium of animation. In this process, I came up with a piece of writing and using pixilation made the final animation. Writing is my key starting point which helps me visualize my projects.
