When design and art unite, a Crafts is formed - become the peak manifestation of human civilization. This work was created when I was getting tired of making leather products by following the market demand. I finally realized, is it possible because I didn't give full awareness to my work. Then I remembered that Indonesia has thousands of traditional crafts that have been passed down by the people for hundreds of years. Does the question arise why they can continue to do that?
This narrative made me dream of being able to visit them in every area throughout Indonesia.
This bag became my firestarter for a long journey around artisans in Indonesia.
