Winchester Cathedral
I have been in Winchester, the ancient capital of England, visiting the cathedral. Things I loved were the tombs of pre-conquest Kings and Queen Emma, the Romanesque transepts (a rare survival), the medieval tiling and St Swithun's shrine. This is the first cathedral I have photographed since 2019 and it was fun to be returning to a subject I haven't done since before the pandemic.
