This is my final project, my pet my family campaign. I never imagined 6 months feels like 6 decades to me :D Here it is the abstract:
Animal welfare issue has become the topic of discussion lately, one of it is about neglected pet in Jakarta. A busy daily routine is the main cause of this problem, therefore it needs a social campaign about animal welfare education for people in Jakarta. In this research, writer try to find the solution of how to design visual media that effective to communicate this social campaign, with descriptive approaches such as interview, survey, observation, and literature study, then process all of the data as the guidance to design visual media. The result is expected to be the solution of phenomenon that occurs, so it will bring viewpoint and behavior of society towards better understanding in animals life.
So, I summarized the message of animal welfare, especially for pet, in 3 series posters, and each of it divided for cat and dog. I made the illustration with manual hand drawing and watercolor then digitally editing. First series is about how you feed and give your pet water.
The 2nd series, is about how to keep your pet healthy and clean
And the last series, telling you to remember don't lock it up in cage too long, by giving it hug and taking it to play
This is the mock up when poster put in park of residential area. One of strategies to gain awareness of this campaign.
Brochure, contains detail info about animal welfare, using infographic to deliver the message.
Ambient media, sticker that put on pet food packaging.
Then I made some merchandise and goodiebag to promote this campaign. There are T-shirt, water bootle, keychain and notes.
