With millions of animals on the streets of India, battling illness, starvation and mistreatment, it is imperative to devise an efficient system that allows them to find safe and happy homes to live in. People who are involved in rescuing, fostering and finding homes for animals in need have to rely on doing so through word of mouth or social media, such as Instagram and Facebook. These are unreliable methods, as they make it difficult to find the people one is targeting. Shelters too, are often over capacity and understaffed due to limited resources, requiring better means to find people who can contribute. Fido acts as a platform that bridges this disconnect, and brings together a community of animal lovers and activists, with the best interests of the animals in mind.

Information Architecture
We created three different architectures. One for people looking to adopt animals, one for people looking to find homes for animals and one for organisations and shelters. Each of these is specific to the unique needs of each user; such as the ability for shelters to create campaigns, appeals and wish lists that are to the other users of the app in order to collect donations.
