The Bird. Third part of a large set of decorative figures I've made for a LARP game in 2020. 3 custom-made models (the Great Lion, the Lesser Lion and the Bird) and 24 copies of each: a total of 72 figures cast in construction foam. Yep, the one you get from a hardware store. They had to be cheap and lightweight.

Master-models sculpted with plasticine. Moulds made of silicone with a plaster outer shell. Foam castings painted with alcohol ink and metallic acrylic paint via quick and dirty 'dark base/metallic dry brush highlights' technique. With an intermediate layer of matte urethane coating to ensure extra durability without sacrificing the realistic aged bronze look.
