Client: Student Project
Role: Creator
Software: Adobe Illustrator

For this project, I wanted to use my own photos. I thought it would be fun and creative to try to capture the item myself and then use it for a realistic looking ad. It was difficult at first to come up with a location for the photos, but I thought placing the item against some sort of nature outside would work well with the ad. For the first photo, I had some trouble with lighting, but as I moved the bag around on the grass I was able to capture the perfect photo. I tilted the bag on purpose to add a little bit more to the photo to make it more interesting. For the second photo, I actually already had it from last month! That photo is a picture of me in Las Vegas with the bag, and I thought that it would work perfectly for this project. I wanted to make sure that I had three distinctly different photos, and the second one definitely stands out the most. It was difficult deciding where to put the text because there is a lot going on in the background, but I decided to put it in the middle to draw attention to it. For the third photo, I wanted to place the bag in an interesting location, and I thought that flowers were the perfect background. As for the text, I had some difficulty deciding what direction I wanted to go with it. However, once I decided to incorporate shapes into it, the process became a lot easier! I decided to use the colors blue, pink, and yellow for the text because those are the colors that are in the bag as well. I thought that by using the same colors, the ad would look more put together and realistic.
