Dymkovo toy — a Russian folk craft with a 400-years history that begins in Vyatka, in the city of Kirov. For this visual research I have chosen toys from the oldest to the newest. I also highlighted common plots to see how toys have been changing within the motives over time.
Also, I made a system of patterns that Dymkov toys have. All the patterns are represented on a dust jacket. They show what every color and pattern means. Each picture of a toy in the book has pictograms of the patterns in description.
