Arduino® Week 2022

Arduino Week is a worldwide celebration of Arduino’s birthday, bringing people together to share
their experiences and learn more about the open-source platform. It’s a mix of official activities
organised by Arduino and community events around the globe. For the event we designed
a series of assets inspired by our community.

We asked Marta Signori, an Italian talented illustrator based in Milan, to craft a series of characters inspired by the heterogeneity of people that composes the Arduino community. Each group is represented in rich pattern that just like our community, is eclectic and colourful.

Arduino’s target is divided into three main segments, all represented during the week, through talks, interviews and community meet-up.

Teal is representative of the Maker Community, the tinkerers of the world that made Arduino famous with their outstanding projects. Orange is for the Education Community, depicting teachers and inventors of the future. Young generations of students from around the world, that with Arduino, are building their future careers. Black is for the PRO segment, embracing all of the professionals that use Arduino for their businesses, shaping new scenarios for open source technology.

Arduino Week is a worldwide event celebrated digitally; nonetheless we wanted our community to feel it as a tangible experience as much as possible. We did so, providing assets for the production of official merchandise that everyone could make locally.
