Problem
This was a typography / design project to redesign the American $5 bill.
Solution
My solution was to change the shape of the bill and make it more colorful, inspired by the look of the European Euros. The intention of including color and size variation being that other bills would be differing colors and slightly larger sizes in order to distinguish the dollar amount at a glance. Thus, making identifying bill amounts something that anyone can do, including perhaps people who cannot read.
