"Trumpet of the Absurd" was a graphic design project where we had to choose an instrument, make it weird and absurd, and then make two varying posters for it. I chose the trumpet, as I used to play it, and worked with how I know the instrument. Fingers that usually play the keys pop out of where the keys go and a tongue rolls out of the bell (a place where the spit and sound comes out).
This was a super fun project in pushing my imagination while also practicing my poster design skills with something other then a brand or logo, and I think the first poster is my favourite.
