Sound design for an educational animation project 'The Ballad of Pilgrim Lyuborad'
This project was one of my first where I implemented my knowledge of how to compose music using samples, virtual instrument libraries and pre-recorded foleys of nature. The task given by the creator was to add breath into the short animated cartoon, therefore, since the characters in the footage played several instruments such as gusli and a trumpet, I decided to use a royalty-free guitar sample (main riff played throughout the whole cartoon), added layers of an overdriven guitar recorded by me, and a trumpet from Kontakt 5 library.
