Music Video for the song "Into the Unknown" from Disney's Frozen 2

This is a music video I created using the Unreal Engine, Daz Studio, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, and Epic Game's MetaHuman Creator. I also recorded and produced the music (a cover song from Disney's Frozen 2 movie) using Logic Studio and it is my voice for the lead vocal. The video took quite a while to produce / create (several months actually) because I'm just one guy doing everything myself and I had tons of technical issues along the way that I had to overcome, but I persevered and got it finished. Some big challenges were the facial animation... that was a ton of work to get right, but also creating a custom body (using Daz Studio) for the MetaHuman character (the main character) and that was a big challenge to get right. Another big challenge was all the character animation... I had to do it all without a motion capture suit. I had to learn how to use motion capture animation collections, retarget animations, edit and tweak the motion capture data, etc. Learning how to animate the face using Unreal's face rig was a rather daunting task but I eventually got the swing of it.

Also, my old gaming laptop wasn't powerful enough to handle everything that I was doing in the video so I ended up buying a more powerful gaming PC to finish the project. This also created more technical issues with having to upgrade the Unreal Project to UE5... which broke a lot of things in the process and created a multitude of other technical issues... all of which I eventually either fixed or found work arounds for. This was a passion project of mine so I was committed and passionate about it. In the end I learned a ton of new skills...I'd never even used the Unreal Engine prior to making this video so I had to learn a lot. My previous experience with the Unity game engine really helped out in that regard.
