Metal Fabric
As a part of course, in groups of 4 we are asked to alter the properties of a given a material.
We had to work with metal (hard & stiff ), and we decided to give metal a more fabric feel ( flowy & smooth ).
We interlocked numerous metal nuts and washers to make an overcoat.

In a two day class about doodling with materials, I choose to explore bamboo.
After experimenting, I had made a mirror frame using the techniques I explored.

As part of the same couse i also looked into pipes and ropes and came up with a bedside table with a lamp.

Dreamcatcher weaved surface & a hard flat surface make the table top. The hard surface lets you keep, objects like cups & other similar items which need a flat support.
