This project was entered into the NC State Fair graphics compitition of 2013. The goal was to create a graphic that fit the theme "A Healthy Forest is a Happy Forest" and some other rules and guidlines. I started with several cut out images of trees. Then I layered an image of a wooden frame, craft bow, NC state Fair logo (which I added a color filter to create an antique look. Finally I added the state bird, a cardinal, with a drop shadow. To my surprise, I won third place- kind of cool.
