Bruno Mars Unorthodox Jukebox CD case - JT Keller

Hello there, for this project, I was told to design a custom CD case over an existing album.  It had to be an original CD using the themes and influences from the original CD case but with a twist. The twist being that it had to look as if it were created in the 90's by using different 90's art styles throughout the design.  Anyway, I did my CD case based off Unorthodox Jukebox by Bruno Mars.  I have my design below and will discuss about the creative process.
For this project we had to look at many different components such as the front cover, back cover, the inside and outside traycards, the spine, and the disc itself.  I designed each part with vibes and themes that the songs provide along with that 90's twist to it too.
Here I have my front cover.  The one on the left is my final design and the one on the right is my initial first draft.  I originally had too much going on in the first draft and decided to simplify the front cover for my final draft.
Here I have all my designs for the inside traycard and disc.  They all look very similar, but the main differences in all of them is the sizing and separation of the font.  I used a lot of time perfectly matching the disc to the traycard while also making sure that the text would also fit onto the disc.  But each one of these has the same paint design, which I created using different color brush strokes next to one another for a colorful and wavy look.
These here are the Outside Traycard and the Back Cover respectively.  I didn't have any drafts for these two designs here, I basically got them both done correctly on the first try.  The Outside Traycard has a list of the 10 songs from Bruno Mars' album, and they all have different fonts and colors relating to the theme and vibe that you get while listening to the songs.  I also found a picture of Bruno Mars to use and although the picture was low quality, you can't really tell due to the grunge look I applied.  I also added a grunge look on the Jukebox cover as well.  After I completed my final draft for the front cover, I got rid of the jukebox, but I still wanted it in one of the designs, so I inserted it with a grunge-y look and I think it looks very nice and unorthodox.
Here it is altogether and I am really proud at how it came out.  Every side on this CD is very unique towards one another but it looks really cool with the textures and colors used.  I think it has a good 90's theme to it, and I'm really happy with the way it came out because I had to go way out of my comfort zone to make this project happen.  Normally in my projects that I make on Photoshop I like to be very organized and balanced, but instead I had to be more random and unorganized to fit the aesthetic that was required.  I am very happy with how it came out and I hope you all like it too.
