Objective: As a class, we were tasked with creating a unique, useful mobile app, as well as all the screens and options associated with an app. This app had to be unlike other mobile apps that currently exist and have a clear purpose, target audience, and easy-to-navigate layout.
Design Brief: The Tabletop is an app made for those who love tabletop games but struggle to schedule time to play with others. This app was designed to help people find other tabletop enthusiasts, schedule opportunities for times and places to play, to play, and explore local comic bookstores. The logo is a 20-sided die with "The Tabletop" written in an all caps sans serif across the front. For the design, The Tabletop's tone is dark, using multiple varying shades of blue. I wanted the design to be very easy to follow and simple.
