Hand-Lettered Birthday Boards
I assisted for a photographer for several months after moving to Los Angeles, and learned quite a bit about shooting families, couples, and babies. While working for her, we came up with the idea to do "birthday boards" featuring the likes, dislikes, and milestones for the baby's first birthday photo shoots at the end of her "baby's first year" package. We wanted a chalkboard look, but I thought it would be nice if the parents got the board to take home with them, so I use black art boards instead of chalkboards. I'm embracing the opportunity to work on my hand-lettering, and every one turns out better than the last! All photos by Just Maggie Photography.
