form follows the process, ‘Casted’ challenges traditional modes of volume production through
the design of a ‘finished’ object that simultaneously functions as a jig for it’s own manufacture. First, the form of the table legs is milled in the table top. Aluminuim is casted directly into the grooves, used as a mold. Then, we can unmold the aluminium legs from the wood, which become the table top.
