Fold is a lounge chair which explores the formal and functional outcomes of folding soft forms and materials. As a result, natural curvatures are apparent throughout the seating, which are then complemented with the metal frame/legs.

The seat is developed in which function becomes the deciding factor of shaping the form and aesthetic. With the consideration of measurements in the heights and angles of the chair, adjustments are made to satisfy the ergonomics (hence the wide arms and rounded corners).
Final Design
The curves are accentuated through the welting details along the edge of the cushions. Additionally, the curves from the metal frame/legs remain consistent, matching the contours of the upholstered seat.
