This shows my initial ideas for this project and what themes I am going to explore. There are also some models and drawings I created from observation. Here is my experimentation that I produced using the clay burnouts technique, creating something that linked to my project theme.
Displayed is some artist research about techniques that I wanted to try and replicate in my own work and drawings. The results of what I made with the clay techniques, clay burnouts and coiling are shown here. You can also see the outcome when trying to add textue to the surface of the clay. I wanted to re-create objects that link with my theme of heirlooms and nostalgia, so I took personal items of my and tried to do so. Some sketches and mark makings can be seen here as well.
