Subject: An Octopus

This was an at home project I completed. I am really proud of how this painting turned out and wanted to create an interesting composition of an octopus. I wanted to use a new platform for the painting and used a wooden board to paint on. This process allowed me to experiment with how the paint would apply and how it would appear when finished. The design I wanted to achieve was through monochromatic colors of blue and purples to create a peaceful and calming effect to viewers. I worked on this painting over the time of a couple weeks and I was so happy with the finished composition.
