Five illustrated postcards were created as a semestral work on a topic Czech Proverbs and Sayings. For each saying I chose either historical or very famous Czech person that in funny way matches with the saying. For example for saying "What you cook is what you eat." I chose infamous Czech cook, known for cooking only terrible meals. For saying "Thirst is neverending" I chose Czech president Miloš Zeman, who is known for never turning down a drink. And so on.

For this playful concept I decided to go for a quite simple illustration. My goal was to create almost like a children's book aesthetic.
