I had the honor to Illustrate a wine Label for the best known german Weingut Rings, a young premium vineyard estate run by two brothers. The vine is a limited edition for the 10 year anniversary of the vineyard so called "das kreuz" - the cross - which is named after the prominent vineground where the wine grows.

 

I show you some thoughts and snippets of my process and hope you like it.

the first step was to develop a direction and idea for  the "the cross" wine label. We went further with idea 1A - the real stone cross of the vine ground is mirrored in the  wineglas of a nun.
