Introduction: I decided to do a simple reflection of a stock photo I found online and surprisingly even though it turned out looking quite basic I learned a decent amount with the tools in photoshop.
Design Process:
- I began the process by duplicating layer of the coffee bag. I then dragged the duplicated layer down in order to extend the image for the reflection and used the Marquee Tool in order to make a selection around the extended area and fill the extended area with the "Self Aware" selection in order to match the background.

Moving on, I used the selection tool around the coffee back in order to duplicate it and flip it upside down in order to create a reflection. I then added a masked layer onto the duplicated layer and played around with the gradient tool in order to make it sort of looking like its fading away and then lowered the opacity.

Issues:
I ran into issues with using the gradient tool messing up my background it making it look really weird and off and I am honestly not sure why but after playing around with a little bit I got it to look somewhat decent and got it to work.
Some photos from the work in Photoshop:

I would like to thank everyone for looking at my Lab 3 reflection assignment. I learned a lot and appreciate you guys for checking it out!
