Poets, musicians and artists  join members in the Kilimantogo community to cleanup. Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time. It allows people from different cultures and times to communicate.

Tukwane obutonde means befriending nature.

The future we envisage can only be created by us: complaining won't help, waiting for others to act won't help and laziness will not help us create the future we want. But hardwork, persistance,consistency, self-discipline and self-belief will make the difference.

Since the 2000s, the world has been producing more plastic than in the previous 50years,especially for the single use products and packaging.This issue is sadly getting worse as time goes on.
It feels great being joined by members in the community to cleanup.

A member in the community gave us space to create waste management awareness through paintings. Art in this sense is communication.
Uganda is trying to move towards "zero plastic" initiative by banning plastic manufacture, importation and providing alternatives to it's use like paper bags 
We interacted with other craftsmen sharing ideas on waste management at their workspace.
Mustafah Khan on the strings, He is a painter,poet and musician his work explores challenges of the changing environment. This song emphasizes that man should not destroy nature but rather take good care of it.
