BCOM 2040
The project is four very different scenarios that imagines the world in 2040.
BCOM is a French research institute, exploring digital and technological subjects.
01I The Hacker house
People collaborating inside small communities which are self-sufficient, they have their own internet network, their energy and their own cryptocurrency to trade their food and materials.
02I GAFA
In this world, the datacenter of the GAFA are the center of the cities, it can produce energy and clean water for everyone around. It can also collect wasteland turn them into new devices.
03I EU 2040, the democratic control
In this story, the democratic path is chosen over the power of the GAFA, citizens require full transparency.
04I Biotechnology
The technology has developed to a point were we don't need silicium and other hard to get materials and we can transmit information via plants and trees. I imagine the interior of a bee hive's inspired flat, where you can find tree and river flowing inside.
