The title I decided based on the images above was "MISSING”. What I want to express to the public about this photo series was about someone who was missing herself. She lives in darkness and tries to escape from the darkness. She was trying to find her old self but at one moment, she realizes, does she really miss herself or she was just trying to hide her true self. This is the part of herself that she can see but not others can see. This is where she keeps her most confidential details, anything she doesn't want people to know about her defects, dysfunctions, fears, feelings, intents, desires, mistakes, secrets, or guilt.
Real-world is not like she imagines. It’s so hurtful to lives in reality. Everything just broke her. She felt like a ghost floating across space, attempting to retrieve something lost in a previous life. This expressed itself in various aspects of her life, affecting her relationships, employment, studies, and overall health and well-being. There were repercussions, and she experienced them; she sought out new ways to suffer; she desired to return to herself; I simply wasn't sure how.
She felt she was lost in a mixed world such that she feels like she was still in the dark even if she was in a shadow atmosphere. She'll wake up on certain days and just won't have it. Then she discovers that broken things can and will always be healed. She is just not the person she was, the person she aspires to be, or the person she projected herself to be, and she has struggled with this.
Finally, she can find herself back. Slowly but surely. That’s something she would remember such that she struggled to find herself back and she did it.
