Vsxuu Sxita / Golden Armadillo was the project winner of the Beca para reproducciones no digitales, from the Programa Nacional de Estímulos 2019, Ministerio de Cultura. Grant for non digital reproduction from the Ministry of culture of Colombia.

An artistic project developed by Gustavo Adolfo Yonda Canencio & Silvino González Morales, a visual interpretation of elements of the Cosmovision of the Nasa and Misak people seen through the eyes of kids (Itsa Sofia and Yupanki) and 2 designers.

As part of our process of personal grow and artistic development we find vital to take a look and filter our roots and traditions through the lens of the art.

Each of our art pieces was developed as analogue pieces, without the use of digital technologies or processes. From illustration to silk screen prints.

4 series of silk screen posters developed based on some elements of the Cosmovision of the Misak and Nasa people (both cultures are part of our family legacy and heritage).

A series of posters based on the illustrations of workshops with Nasa and Misak kids. The goal is to teach them about silk screen process but to exchange with them perceptions about the Cosmovision of each Ancestral Group.

A series developes as part of our own interpretation of the traditions seen through the lens of our own mixture of traditional and Western artistic developments and interests.

A series of macrographs mixing the other experiments and projects.
