Boand is an intimate sex toy brand focusing on empowering people’s ability to reach the outdated mindsets regarding sex activities. There are many people who still do not have a chance or ability to approach this extend due to their limited capacity leading to many major problems as low-self confident, self-sabotage and other mental issues. This brand sees a chance to objectively speak for these groups of people who are disabled in either area since it is now concerned that sexual pleasure are classified as human rights by W.H.O. Moreover, it is scientifically proven that people with disability tend to less succeed in sexual activities, so this brand would like to bring the possibility closer to them. 


Boand is based on the name of one Irish goddess who broke the taboo and lost her arms, legs and eyes and make the famous River Boyne through the village to help the people. For the initial ideas to the visual identity, the idea was generated with the boldness, the independence, yet the tempting sweetness of women that empower the feminine energy in themselves. The serif typeface mixed with delicate calligraphy are the meaningful elements reflecting the main users with the handful and aesthetic complement that could be combined. The colours usage are used in similar proportions since I would like to bring out the strength of the boldness’ meaning.
