Pictofactory's latest project features a character design that embodies the brand's creative process. For us at its core, the creative process is a continuous dialogue that takes place both within the team and with the external world. The design portrays this concept through a base that represents the Pictofactory team - a moving object that places itself in various environments to listen to different stories. The three dots within the base signify the core team members and their ongoing collaboration. The arrows surrounding the base symbolize the ideation process - a constant cycle of generating, refining and reusing ideas. As the base interacts with the external world, the entire dialogue is projected outward.

In the projected part, we aimed to depict three key features. Firstly, we wanted to convey a sense of whimsy, which we achieved through the incorporation of eyes, wings, and a blend of organic and industrial forms. Secondly, we wanted the design to highlight the ability to move independently from the base, with the added feature of being able to fly or swim. Finally, we wanted to emphasize the idea of bulk production of ideas, etudes, and designs, reflecting the factory features that are integral to our brand.
The sheets we have presented here depict a portion of our process. We begin with ideation and brainstorming, followed by sketching, and then finally implement the ideas in graphical software. We place great importance on creating feedback loops between our team and clients, allowing for the extension of options to our clients.
In this sheet, we present a behind-the-scenes look at the design creation and refinement steps for this project. The process includes wireframing, establishing proportions, selecting colors and shades, and attending to other details such as refining lines and patterns.
