'Advancing Peace Through Social Inclusion'
The First time, Bangladesh hosted a two days World Peace Conference in
Dhaka to mark two seminal events of the country’s history- the Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and 50 years celebration of an independent nation. 
with this year’s agenda 'Advancing Peace Through Social Inclusion', the objective of the Conference is to further disseminate Bangabandhu's ideals of peace and non-violence in the contemporary world and Bangladesh's efforts towards establishing and promoting a culture of peace under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The Conference brings together leading peace proponents in the world, human rights activists, academicians, and researchers to speak and discuss peace agendas.

H.E. Md. Abdul Hamid, Hon'ble President of Bangladesh inaugurated the Conference on 04 December 2021.
H.E. Sheikh Hasina, Hon'ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh graced with her presence the closing ceremony of
the Conference 05 December 2021.
