My three favourite colours //
Devyn Asato
Red is a colour I am often drawn to, mainly for it's devilish and wild characteristic. For myself, it represents a sense of rebellion, an urge to be bold, and go against what is considered common or mundane. As an aspiring designer I love how red draws attention, and can be paired with any colour, for either a high contrast or to compliment a similar tone.
Another colour I am very drawn to is dark grey/blue. I am most attracted to this colour for the sense of calmness it brings, and I will oftentimes relate it to dusk. I like that it's mild, and almost goes unnoticed, but has so much beauty to it.
Lastly, my third favourite colour is green. I haven't always liked the colour, but lately when it is paired correctly, I really enjoy it. The shades i am most often drawn to are forrest green, or jade green. I feel very nostalgic about this colour, as it reminds me of my hometown in Northern B.C, and all the summers I spent outdoors enjoying what nature has to offer.
