Sophomore-year form study.
“Flowform” carries a continuous line of motion through-
out the form, from one end to the other.
For this project, we were asked to create a "flowform" study in the form of a beechwood spatula.
The form had to be not only beautiful but highly functional as well, so I spent some time refining details like the semi-curved handle (for a comfortable grip) and the asymmetrically-curved and pointed blade, which makes stirring & scraping easier by fitting the curvature of a frying pan.
