BRING ME THE HORIZON - POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR TOUR
After release of their hit new EP Post Human: Survival Horror in October 2020, British rock/metal band Bring Me The Horizon embarked on a sold-out tour across the UK in September 2021 with supporting acts You Me At Six and Nova Twins. Although playing some classics too, Bring Me The Horizon focused this tour on their new sound, briefly revisiting their metalcore roots from past albums such as Count Your Blessings, along with including sound effects and samples, as previously shown before in 2015 album That’s The Spirit.
Bring Me The Horizon, originally a metalcore band from Sheffield, have been through the works as a band. From losing and gaining members to lawsuits, frontman Oli Sykes has been actively recording and performing music successfully since 2004, joined originally by Mat Nicholls, Curtis Ward, Matt Kean and Lee Malia. As the band began recording loud, ‘screamo’ music from Sykes’ bedroom, no-one would have ever expected them to sell out 20,000 capacity arenas in London 17 years later.
As a heavily experienced band concerning live performances, Bring Me The Horizon have an unmatchable stage presence. Along with Sykes’ impressive vocals, he has a way of easily controlling the crowd, keeping concerts enjoyable but safe. The British band have immense talent, and nothing beats witnessing said talents in person. The current live line-up of Bring Me The Horizon have a powerful connection with each other, as well as with their fans in the audience, making every show unforgettable.
